Hi;) I'm Ashleigh, I'm in 3rd grade this year. The first 4 years of my life were the hardest with hirschsprungs. At the doctors all the time, in and out of hospital. A lot of ambulance rides, mostly from one hospital to Childrens in Dallas.
The past couple of years, I've done so much better. I still have to wear pullups. When I turn 11 I will start a program that Scottish Rites Hospital has for Hirschsprungs kids with type of damage I have from Hirschsprungs Disease.
The fun stuff... what a year last year was! It started off when GranNanna got married. YEP she re-married last January. Only thing that is really just weird is his name is Jim..same as PaPa's.
School year went good. Mom had lunch with me couple of times a week. We had a new school nurse too. My teacher last year taught us to speek some swahelie. End of year, awards as usual. Sissy came out and went to awards ceremony with mom.
Schools out YEAH!! Our summer trip is coming up. First on the road is Houston. Uncle Greg and Tracy are getting married. We spent night at Reni's the first night. My cousins came over, we played and played. Next day was the wedding. Tracy's daughter Lindsey is now my cousin ;) she a year and half older than I am. That night we stayed in Hotel. GranNanna and Jim stayed there too. Next morning we hit the road to San Antonio.
After a few days in San Antonio we hit the road again. Our next stop was in Austin, Tx.
Had a great summer!
Time for school to start again...and it's a busy time. My sister Mindy got married in September. Of course I was in the wedding *giggles*
Mom gets call, Uncle Jack passed away, we head to Little Rock, Ark in October for a few days. Sad time for that side of my family, but I had a blast playing with cousins. Planning to go visit again during spring break in March ;) Speaking of.. my sissy and I have birthday's in March..party time!
School is going good...next up is the Christmas play at school. Was a lot of fun.
We are out for Christmas break. Out of nowhere.. mom's driving down side street coming home..sees this house, Big Old house..she fell in love with it and BOOM...we are moving in days and totally moved in three day after Christmas! It's a BIG house compared to where we lived. I love it! My room is HUGE! Can't wait for summer. Backyard is big enough to ride 4 wheeler in, even with gym set, pool and trampoline..I have room to ride 4 wheeler! I'm learning the riding mower this summer...mom will have heat stroke doing it all!
As you can see and hear... I like Bratz, littleist pet shop,rescue pets, blue collar tv and High School Musical. Fav's are Cheetah girls, Hannah Montana, Jessie McCartney. Some of my favorite sites are Nick, bratz, disney, cheeta girls. My passion is nature and science. My cat's name is Coon..he's soo funny!
That's about all I can think of now. We haven't decided where we are going for our summer trip yet. Have some idea's........ ;)
